Escape & Emergency Evacuation Plans
Review escape & evacuation plans; fire warning signals and procedures

Ground Control

Highwall dangers & water hazards; pits and spoil banks

Dust control; noise management; warning labels

Hazard Recognition
Identifying hazards in a mine

Electrical Hazards
Knowing electrical hazards

First Aid
Rendering aid to yourself or a coworker

Discussing the dangerous hazards of explosives

Health & Safety
Task hazards, safe work procedures, HazCom Program

Job site or task specific, as directed by the MSHA District Manager, mining operations, contractor, or vendor.
